Afsaneh Beschloss founded the investment firm RockCreek in 2003. She has a background in international trade, economic development and finance, and has written and consulted on these issues as well as natural gas and renewable energy policy.

Beyond her role as CEO of RockCreek, Beschloss serves as a trustee at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Center for Global Development. She co-chaired the 2018 Conference of Montreal for the International Economic Forum of the Americas. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of Kent and her master’s from St. Antony’s College at Oxford.
